Future Meetings
SOAP annually provides two educational offerings: the Sol Shnider MD Obstetric Anesthesia Meeting and the SOAP Annual Meeting.
The "SOAP Presents Sol Shnider" is a meeting that will follow its historical roots that has served it well for over 2 decades. Stylistically, this means shorter, clinical "update" lectures that the practitioner, be it nurse, nurse anesthetist, anesthesiologist, obstetrician or perinatologist, would find of interest.
Although the active clinical practitioner comprises the majority of attendees to the SOAP Annual Meeting, this meeting would also be of great interest to clinical researchers, basic scientists and administrators due to a major focus on sharing novel and ongoing research in the field, issues related to governance of the society, and issues of importance to the delivery of anesthetic care to pregnant women and their newborns.
We invite and expect many of you to attend both offerings!

1st Latin American Symposium on Obstetric Anesthesia - (Flyer PDF)
The Society of Obstetric Anesthesia and Perinatology (SOAP) announces its 1st Latin American Symposium on Obstetric Anesthesia to be held on Wednesday April 24th, 2013 at the Caribe Hilton Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The annual SOAP meeting will follow from Thursday the 25th to Sunday the 28th of April, 2013.
