Trinity College, Dublin, was founded in 1592 by Queen Elizabeth I and
is in the heart of Ireland's capital. One of Ireland's greatest treasures,
the Book of Kells, is housed on the campus and the College is within
walking distance of many major visitor attractions, theatres, cinemas,
museums, libraries and shops. Standing on a self contained site, the
College covers some 35 acres of cobbled squares and green spaces surrounded
by buildings which represent the accumulated architectural riches of
nearly three centuries.
The scientific meeting will be held in the Edmund Burke Theatre in the
modern Arts Building with buffet lunch served in Trinity College Dining
Hall which dates from c.1760.
